Peace forum is a non-profit charitable and non-governmental organization registered under The Indian Trusts Act of 1882 vide.Regd.No.60/IV/2016 dated 20th April 2016 and has been established by Halina Dayanand, retired Banker and development Professional in Hyderabad along with a group of professionals who shared a dream to work on a people-centric model of development to empower the poor and marginalized in the areas of public health, education, women empowerment, community development to work towards social and financial inclusion and various socio-economic cultural, educational, health and relief activities. Peace Forum strongly believes that ensuring socio-economic development for the poor, marginalized and vulnerable sections of society is the most significant step towards poverty alleviation and human development. Our aim is to create awareness in the community on issues relating to the status, rights and problems of women, environmental education for slum dwellers and rural poor, taking up projects on various socio, economic, educational, cultural, health, environmental issues and relief activities.
The TRUST has vested its ultimate authority in the Board of trustees. There are five trustees on the board who elect the Managing trustee and are collectively called the “TRUST BOARD” is the supreme authority of the Peace Forum. The Governing body provides policy guidelines and direction for the proper functioning of society. Further, The governing body also provides leadership and direction to the management, approves strategy and major policy decisions and oversees the management to attain its vision, mission and objectives of the organization
Mr Haliga Dayanand has a bachelor's degree in B.COM and LLB. He has post-graduation in MSW and LLM. His other qualifications include CAIIB and FIPED from Harvard University. A senior development and financial sector professional with 30 years of experience in leading and managing NGOs, banking and Microfinance operations. He started his career as an officer at CANARA BANK and served for 21 Years and opted for VRS. From there he switched over to the development sector and served as Chief operating officer- in Ankuram cooperative federation Ltd Hyderabad and later worked as Assistant Professor at Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Law college Hyderabad including Senior MSME consultant in Planet finance India Kolkata, world Bank project (SIDBI and advisor/consultant for Institute for Financial management and involved in conducting research on FINO Mobile plate firm a Financial Literacy Project.
Mrs Thiruvaipati Daisy Kasturi has a Degree in Law and Masters's degree in commerce and is a development professional with over 20+ years of work experience with rural and urban communities and organizations and having experience in diversified activities in the development sector – SHG Institution building, Livelihood Programs, Women Empowerment, Integrated Natural Resource Management, Adult Functional literacy, Rights and Entitlement, Micro- enterprise and value chain. She has experience in handling different projects.
Mr. MRK Murthy has Master of Business Administration with specialisation of Marketing & HRM from Andhra University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT). He has a Ph.D in Management from JNTU, Hyderabad. MRK Murthy is having 16 years of professional experience in Social Sector, CSR, Good Governance, policy research, monitoring and evaluation, human development, Rural and Panchayati Raj Development, smart village, urban development, Agriculture and Allied Sectors research. His key interests lie in Rural and Urban Development Policies, Governance issues, Research and development with Central & State sponsored welfare programmes, Climate Change, Economics of R&D, Entrepreneurship, Start-ups, and Monitoring & Evaluation, Managing team of experts, Performance Management, contract management, procurement, and action research.
Ms P.Sujata rani has a degree in MA Psychology from Andhra University and Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and counselling from the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD). She has nearly two decades of work experience in gender sensitization training and implementation. She conducted life skills workshops for parents, teachers and students at schools and communities.She Conducted group interventional workshops in communities on substance abuse and violence against women including women empowerment. Uday Kumar is a professional and is a qualified Post Graduate, B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and ITILV3 certified with 10+ years of versatility in Ad Trafficking, Campaign Management, Reporting, Transition, Operations, team management and vendor management. Prior to Oplifi, He was Part of HCL's Media and Publishing team supporting APAC, EMEA, NA & LATAM clients for one of the internet and advertising giants. Mr Uday has a rich experience in ad serving on both demand-side platforms and supply-side platforms.
